I was at the Alan Bibey camp and Alan paid a great tribute to Herschel and also played a rippin' version of Rebecca.
Does anybody know where I can stream Mandolin in B?

That OP's is a real beauty. I own the precursor '83 A5-2. Main difference is that hardware is not gold-plated. Bought one of the first two carved Flatirons from Mandolin Brothers. They hadn't started...
Very nice. Nothing like hitting it off with a closet queen.
Listen to Frank's breaks on Little Maggie, the first song on the album Glassweb mentioned. Pure Frank genius.

Resurrecting this long idle thread to note today is the anniversary of the publication of the ultimate Jethro book by Mel Bay. Still amazed when we listen to those old jazz recordings. They were...
Here’s the newest Kelley mandolin. It has a 100 year old red spruce top with tone bars. This thing has that old hollow log tone already. The back is a really nice one piece.

Mandozine was hosting a wonderful collection of TablEdit files for mandolin, but as you are probably aware it has not been reliable lately. The site went offline at the beginning of 2019, was...
I stumbled upon this video of a Zeidler being played in concert recently.

I'm sorry you were having problems with Nugs. It took us three years to build Acoustic Oasis on their platform and it was the only game in town for us 10 years ago, when this thread began. Now we're...
I'm sorry the numbers did not work out for their continued manfacture. It was my good fortune to work out a trade for one of the A model cases, home to my Henderson A. There is a Small Dog cover...
I don’t think you can buy this anymore, so...
