    I took my 2 year old to see a bluegrass band last week and when she was the mandolin she shouted "Daddy, it's your mandolin!"

    In fact, she could name all of the instruments execpt the banjo.

    I have been playing with Dawg picks and recenly couldnt find one so i used one of my heavy pro plec picks and havent switched back to a dawg pick.

    Perhaps switching keeps you sharp.

    honestly, dont buy either of those. Go get a Kentucky KM-150 or an Eastman MD305 if you want an entry level mandolin.
