I recently bought this used Weber Yellowstone Oval A. I had Randy Wood scoop the fretboard extension last week. It’s a very nice mandolin.

You can go to almost any office supply store, UPS store, etc., and they will grind off the backbone and comb bind it for you. Only costs a few dollars.

I really can't say enough about this mandolin. I found a used 2016 Mandolin Store Custom F5 and pulled the trigger. It's a step above an F5 and a step below The Fern in the Gibson pecking order.
