    The The 2 and 4 in 4/4 are the same as the ands in 2/2, just different countng. They are both the "backbeat" and they are both what the snare drum would play.

    If you mean like slotted and not fitted that's pretty cheap. There are inexpensive (27.00 or so) bridges at stewmac.com but I don't think they are slotted.

    I use the lock down method on the Martin website, minimal wraps on post, zero slip, fast, winder optional.
    Less string on the post seems to result in maximum tuning stability for me....
