What kind of mandolin do you have??perhaps the relief
on the headstock is not enough and is preventing you
from sliding your hand back far enough,causing the
problem i see in the picture.
That is my F9,,I found I couldn't part with it,, so I pulled the ad.
I was looking at an Ellis, and just didn't think I would be that much
better off. the F9 is a great mando.168822

Two years ago,,I had arthritis so bad in my left hand middle finger
Icould not use it!! I opted for surgery which let me at least bend it
about 80% of normal. It is however,,useless for playing...
YES! Politics can be discussed on all other types of social media

I had a 1971 F12 that had excessive coats of varnish, which flaked
off the points and headstock. Since it was a gift from my wife,,Iasked
Roger Siminoff about it,, and was told it needed to be...
I miked them @ .011,.015,.025, .039,,. So far,, I'm liking them, I usually use EXP74's.
Time is required now, to further evaluate.

I'm confused.....i paid $650.00 for my km850 in 1979. The km1000 was at least $200.00 more. My cat. From bucks county folk in 1977 shows the km 850 for $575.00,,the km1000 for $725. Mandolin bros....
