Just to close the loop on this I found a place that sells singles of the Thomastik so ordered some and they arrived today. So far I'm very happy with them so thanks for the recommendation!!

The arm rest is my first try at a complex one.. a bit of a challenge but turned out OK ( a few small warts).. The top is interesting, from Alaska Specialty Woods, apparently a 3000 year old log...
