    Re: Case humidifier

I just used fabric glue to secure a couple strips of Velcro in the corner of the case to secure my humidifier tube. Works fine to prevent flopping around.

  4. Gator mandolin Gig Bag and Eastman mandolins

Sunday I purchased a Gator GL light weight mandolin case/gig bag, $99 at my local music store. I like the light weight gig bags, and the hard case that came with my new Eastman MD-514 just has no...
  5. D'Addario's new Chris Thile signature mandolin pick

I recently got in one of the new Chris Thile signature mandolin picks from D'Addario (Model 2CA7-01CT), which are currently retailing for $25 apiece. That's fairly expensive for a single pick, but...

A lot of the great player talk about starting on gospel or other Christian hymn music. A good portion of the "rules" of Western music were formulated from early church music. So weather or not you...

Can't speak highly enough about Banjo Ben. Been a lifetime member for several years.

Well, if it makes you feel a little better, you don't need to bother the employees to play most of the instruments on the wall at Carter's or Gruhn's unless you're wanting to play Loars.

    Last time...
