Here’s a tune composed by Nigel Eaton on hurdy gurdy. Here’s my version played on mandolin and octave mandolin. Seasons Greetings!

I recently played two Loar’s side by side, one with a Virzi. There was a subtle difference with the Virzi, slightly sweeter.

I don’t have the abc file. Just sayin... if, it can go into Tabledit.
Now you have me interested in the tune!
I was at Carters recently and played that Heiden Octave. What a beautiful and well made instrument! To me the neck and action were so easy to play, and this is important for an octave with the larger...
If you are looking for more bass the SA will do the trick. Mine has the strongest G strings I’ve ever played. I understand working with Ken Ratcliff is a pleasure and he can dial in the tone.

Tallahassee
Locktender's Reel
Tombigbee Waltz
Enjoy!

I've tryed the Primetone 1.5 triangles and like them, they are similar to the BC TAD 60, a little brighter in tone. Feels stable in the hand, and for the price an inexpensive sub to the BC's.
I don't like the matchy suits, but I like to see a band dress up a bit and co-ordinate their outfits, a sport jacket is nice. They say if you are a performer you should set yourself on a higher level...
very nice arrangement!
Does Thile play a Collings on the Bach album? I know he has a Loar now. Is the contest specifically related to the album and should the name reflect that?
