The black part on the picture is a part of dpa‘s accordion mounting foot. Thr metal sleeve that seems to be soldered onto the tailpiece looks like a homemade contraption to slide the foot into. No...
Mine came with the backpack strap D-rings option and I installed an additional ring myself.
Now I can carry the case straight upright on my back with one strap worn diagonally or just over one...

Hello Pilot70D,
welcome aboard and enjoy this fun journey!
If you don't want to jeopardize your back porch based income plan, I'd strongly recommend an 8-string electro mandolin and a Marshall...
From my point of view as a professional live sound engineer, allow me to share my opinion:
Stay away from cheap wireless inear systems, especially in the 2.4 GHz range. This works theoretically but...
For all the diy folks, here come two links about building a pop-free mute switch (also for condenser mics):

How do you assume that this request came from “her“ ???
Foldedpath is right: the iPad can only record two tracks at once.
I use and recommend the Focusrite itrack solo, can be used as a normal USB interface or (with the lightning cable) as a iPad...
Absolutely right!
From a sound engineer‘s point of view, this (costly, when done right) attempt is the wrong way to address your issue. I’d rather look at the root of your problem and change the...
Dear mswlogo,
your more than rude overreaction shows how much JL277z‘s post hit the nail on the head.
Not in a single word did she insult you but just showed a personal opinion that might not...
After having read many well meant advices covering the whole spectrum between "personal amp" and "Suck it up", that seemed not to satisfy you, my first itch to reply was something like "Good luck...
A bluetooth mic is not a good idea for live sound reinforcement as it will bring too much latency (delay) into the signal chain. If you play your phone‘s music through your bt speaker, latency is not...
