About Mike Bullard
Biography:
Born and raised in Huntsville Alabama during the space race. Saw a lot of the rocket testing and got to meet Dr Von Braun as a kid. Learned to play music from my father and continued through my teenage years. Spent a good part of my young life as a mechanic working on cars and trucks. Raced motocross for several years and quit after I went to work for UPS. After being a mechanic for three months I was promoted supervisor and then a manager. I studied and learned computers then went into training others to operate them.

Have two grown kids that I love more than life. A wonderful wife that understands me and I would give her anythings she asked for.

While working for UPS on special assignment in Nashville I was fortunate to meet Bill Monroe. He took me under his wing and taught me his style of mandolin and helped me to purchase my 92 F-5 Artist Flatiron. He was a friend and mentor.

I retired in 2005 and still playing Bluegrass and Gospel. Also play in church and at many of the festivals around Alabama.

All in all God has been good to me and for that I am forever grateful. John 3:16
