I buy all my strings as singles from my local music store. Most are D’Addario but he sells Newtone as well. Does your guitar take loop ends or can...

GDAE 23” scale..... a good stating point would be 12p 20w 30w 45w. You might want to adjust them a little bit to suit you but, those gauges are...

If your instrument is a 23” scale then all you need is a .09 to give you a light set CGDA 9 13 20 30.

You can still use them by tuning down a step or two, what are the gauges? Clifford Essex make excellent strings (nice colour too) but their sets are...

Great conversion, I think you did the right thing with the neck and the contrasting shade of pink works really well. What are those tuning pegs from?

  1. Hi J.C.

I saw that you purchased a Mendel a short while ago and I'm interested to hear what you think. If it's the one that's listed on his site as "sold", nice choice. I'm in the market and haven't yet had a chance to play a bunch. I'm curious to know what it sounds like and how many OMs you tried out before your purchase. If you had a chance to play a few of Joe Mendels - what did you think of the others? I may have my eye on that Adi/rosewood. Well, I hope you're happy with it! Thanks for your time. Enjoy!
    Bob
