Worked most of my life as a printer. Studied guitar making at Newark and Sherwood College under Roy Courtnall 1998-2000. I have now reached pension age and the government pays me to stay at home and play with instruments (though I don't actually play them very much). I build instruments and fix beaten-up old mandolins, Waldzithers and other oddities that turn up from time to time.
I have a YouTube channel called 'tony d mandolin' where you can hear sound samples of some oddball instruments I have restored to playing order. NB the videos are for mandolin interest, not for musical entertainment!
