Born in the bay area, I've migrated slowly eastward via Durango, CO and ended up in DC. I got interested in mandolin in college at UC Santa Cruz. I wanted to play something different, and ended up taking lessons for a while and teaching myself. I haven't played for years and have just picked it up again, this time hopefully for good.
