About MikeZito
Began playing guitar and bass in 1978; added drums and keyboards around 1983; had brief and unsuccessful flings with the banjo, harmonica, pedal-steel guitar, accordion and violin in later years - didn't pick up the mandolin until 1999. Gave up ALL music in 2006. Came back to the guitar and bass in 2014, and finally reintroduced myself to the mandolin in February of 2017.

Have produced, arranged, engineered, written and/or played on a couple of hundred local recordings since 1991 - most of which, (as Jethro Burns would say), "I have had little or no success with".
Connecticut, USA
Boxing; collecting game used sports jerseys; studying philosophy, theology and the Bible.
3 jobs - basically, unskilled labor.

I recently finished a new homemade 4-song EP of original solo acoustic songs; (sorry, no mandolin content this time). If you are interested in a FREE copy, feel free to send me your address via Private Message, and I will be glad to send you one. Trust me, it will be worth the price!

For 3 decades, I never knew anybody who played the mandolin - no friends, neighbors, relatives, school mates, co-workers, band mates; NOBODY played the mandolin. As a matter if fact, up until I was nearly 30 years old, I could
