This week's winner is New River Train, which was submitted as an old time "D" tune. I'm on the road, posting from my phone, so I'm depending on some of our helpful members to link to some notation and videos! Thanks!!

Well done maudlin mandolin! Not any easy tune to play and sing that's for sure!

Checking back on the various Songs of the Week I've missed, I noticed this one. It's a favorite. Here is the New River Train played in the key of D with mandolin, two guitars and added lead and harmony vocals. (Lots of overdubs on this one!)

Great Job Michael. It sounds like an old recording of our great music heroes from the early days.
