Thanks, Ginny and Christian. Living in Wales, this tune is part of the fabric of life around here, popping up quite frequently. Christian -- sounds very nice on your mandolin! Yes, Nigel's arrangement is more appropriate for our instruments than the Jan Wolters arrangement I recorded back in 2015, and has a more interesting harmony line. Martin
Fine tune, Martin and Christian. I too prefer the simpler arrangement and that bass line in yours is really good, Christian. If only the rugby team could have had better results in the recent Autumn Tests! Yes, as a Scot I am skating on thin ice discussing recent rugby results, and at least the Welsh National team is taking part in the soccer World Cup right now.
A nice melody. Three times well recorded. But I too like the recently recorded arrangement a little more.
