This is a fun little old-time tune, Pretty Little Dog. First video is me playing it rather slow, the second, sped up a bit, but still not as fast as it should go!
Ah, I love that, definitely gonna have to learn it!
Another great tune Barb, you've got a good ear. My version of Pretty Little Dog with some guitar and bass backup and a couple of head bobs here and there. Played on my Sobell large bodied mandolin.
David, that was great! Weren't you the one who didn't want to show his face at the beginning of our videoing? Now, you've got almost as good a video persona as that Irish Tenor Banjo playing boy!
Well done, David - that was awesome!
I thought I'd resurrect this thread as this tune would be a great medley with Pretty Little Cat or should I say chasing "Pretty Little Cat".
Dave, that was the same thought I had.... didn't remember I'd already posted Pretty Little Dog....

That's great Barbara and David, it's raining cats and dogs! Love it......I'll have to have a bash at this.......
Sounds a lot like Clinch Mountain Backstep, no?
Fine playing and nice tune Barbara and thanks for the TAB, David. And I like that it sounds like a distant variation on the tune, Pretty Little Cat.
