Thanks guys, yes I like it too, it’s just a simple tune. I first heard it years ago in California played with a more extended rhythm. I like the repetitive A part. I use the tune as a trance, warm up, loosen up, rhythm exercise with the metronome set on my 6/8 hesitation rhythm -the time intervals (1,2,3 4,5,6) are not all exactly equal. I used to have to watch TV while playing this, because it’s so repetitive, but now my fingers feel more relaxed with it, like a form of meditation.

Ha, ha, Humpty what? Bertram what do you mean? Too regular? English Country Dance rhythm? -I actually did try a more extended 6/8 rhythm a couple of days ago, but it sounded to my ears just the same!
Simon, I always thought everybody knew those Mother Goose rhymes, and Humpty Dumpty ist the most famous of them...
