This week's overwhelming winner is Stony Point, which was submitted as being both Old Time and Bluegrass.

    Here's notation on abcnotation.com

Here's a youtube video of Tony Rice

Here's a video of Ian Walsh doing a fiddle lesson for the tune.

Here's a fiddle and banjo rendition

The submission stating that it’s Bluegrass or OldTime is 100% INCORRECT!

-it’s actually a beautiful Scottish tune... and what luck, it’s a jig!

Boy it sure is reminiscent of a tune I've heard a lot at Irish sessions too, I can't place what it is though.

I think this song is having an identity crisis..

Maybe so, there’s even a Fashion Park at Stony Point (Richmond, Virginia).
    Here’s the banjo TAB:

AND there are ukulele teachers who live in Stony Point, one of whom speaks Chinese and French.

    BUT no mandolin tab YET...

Here's the best thing about "Stony Point" aka "Wild Horses at Stony Point": It also goes by the name "Pigtown Fling." I don't know about you, but I think "Pigtown Fling" is a far classier title.

Pigtown Fling? Now I want to play this tune!
    (OldTime is my favourite)

Pigtown Fling? Hell yes. There's a 3rd part in the Fiddle Fakebook and all these start on the B part as written there, including the Tony Rice version that omits the 3rd part too. I guess that's why it's a fake book.

Really nice Mike! Certainly got the ‘yeharrr!’ foot stomping spirit there, well done.

Very nice Mike! You have a good strong picking method - something I am trying to improve since I'm a real lightweight picker which barely registers on the recording devices.

Really fine, Mike & Don. Definitely has a "fling" feel the way you're both playing it. Another one to add to the list!

Thanks Dennis Frithjof and Ginny. It’s interesting that I can only get the jaunty rhythm if I move my legs at the same time while playing stronger on all the upbeats. Even here though I don’t think there’s enough swing in it, at least in the A part where there’s the alternating accented downbeat to upbeat.
When played really slow it’s a great rhythm practice tune.

Oh, Feather is HOT. My daughter chose her because she was the only kitten with a thick warm angora type coat. She loves to be outside even when it snows. Nice for me too because I don’t have to worry about her, but summers here can be blistering hot so she lives underground or on the old stone stairway most of the day at least. Very strange for a cat too is that if there’s a heavy storm then she wants to go out. Cats hate getting wet, right? Well she’s no exception, doesn’t like it at all but still, out she goes. We played with her a lot when she was young so she loves to hunt. I wonder if mice and rats get flooded out in the heavy rain.

Thanks Mike and Don for the encouraging versions.
