This is a set of two jigs in D major, which I've learned from a now-offline French session tunebook where they appear in this order on the same page. I'm playing them solo on my parlour-size tenor guitar, tuned GDAE.

"A Starry Night For A Ramble" is the title of an American parlour song from 1874, and appears as a jig in "The New England Fiddler's Repertoire" by Randy Miller. Not sure how closely the song and the jig are related.

"Roaring Jelly" was published by Nathaniel Gow in 1806. The same tune is known in Ireland as "Smash The Windows" - the two titles have co-existed for 200 years.

    Vintage Viaten tenor guitar (solo).
