Florida Blues

I found this tune in the tunebook from the Dunedin Scottish Fiddle Orchestra that Martin linked. I had a look at Youtube to get a general picture of this blues, and there were mostly fiddle versions played at Bluegrass speed. But I wanted to create a medium tempo swing arrangement with relaxed swing eighths. Easier said than done!

My Kentucky electric mandolin complained, that it's become a wallhanger, so I played the Florida Blues on it as well:

What very bluesy arrangements to both versions here, Christian. I think you have done the tune a big favour rendering it like this - it is almost the archetypal blues tune and structure.

Christian, I have to admit I enjoyed this quite a bit.
