Great Gibson Service

    In light of some of the posts I've seen in the past (other forums) complaining about Gibson in general, thought I'd plug in and report that my recent
    dealings with them could not have been better. I had the extension
    scooped on my F5L Fern and a general setup done. Danny Roberts and
    his crew could not have been nicer or more professional. They did
    a wonderful job and were very nice.

    It's been a few years, but I got good service from Gibson. Kinda long-distance, but good. I had a Flatiron F that failed at the neck joint. When I got it back, it was beautiful. They buffed out the finish and the action was perfect. A year later, it failed AGAIN. Very rare for Gibson mandolins. They declined to re-fix it. They wanted to replace it with an F9, my dealer went to bat for me, and I ended up with an F5G. I got nothin' but good from Alvin Deskins of Morgan Music in Lebanon Mo. and Gibson OAI in Nashville.
