Very nice dusty, with your trademark beautiful tone. Yes different approaches Bertram and different tunings as I'm in GDAD, which is great for chordal accompaniment though not so good for melody which is a struggle anyway with the scale length of my zouk. Your style I'm sure lends itself to playing in session where your melody would cut through whereas mine with all the ringing open drones would get lost in the mix. This is actually the only tune I've played on the zouk, It's usually employed playing accompaniment and simple counter melody in a Ceilidh band.
Saddle the pony is another nice jig

The Blooming Meadows
Excellent playing, tone and recording noah.
Thanks dustyamps .
Good playing, Noah. You get a nice lift to this jig and it's paced well - not too fast!
Another tune I learned from Breathnach's Ceol Rince an hEireann.
Another nice jig I discovered in "A mandolin player's pastime" that I found almost no information about is "Deserts of Tulloch". I especially like the descending sixths that almost sound like a blues turnaround.
A double jig from O'Neill's Music of Ireland.
