Seems I'm a day late and a dollar short, haha!

The winner this week is Waynesboro, which was submitted as an Old Time fiddle tune.

Here is the notation and abc from abcnotation from John Chambers tune collection.

I found this notation on Penn State's Old Time fiddle tunes

Here's my submission of this great fiddle tune. Hey, I almost made it in a week! Pictures from three Waynesboros in the video.

Mandolin, GDAE tenor guitar & mandola.

Good one bbcee! Nice blend of instruments.

Here's a version I did for Compton's group a long time ago--hence the Monroeized version the 2nd time through the tune.

Really nice, Don. Your version (especially the second time around), in contrast to my straighter take, makes me appreciate how Monroe could take a simple tune & make it his own. I love the choice of notes.

Great versions from bbcee and Don. This arrangement is by Steve Kaufman from his 50 American Fiddle Tunes S-W book.
