Oops! I must have been otherwise occupied yesterday... it just dawned on me that I hadn't done this!

This week's winner is Dinah, which was submitted as and Old Time Tune.

Since this was the one I wasn't sure if I'd found the right one... here's what I found, and if any of you know of other Old Time tunes by the name of Dinah, please add them!

This is the standard notation for the above tune

By a happy coincidence, the current clawhammer TOTW at the Banjo Hangout site is “Kitchen Girl.” It goes well with “Dinah” when strummed-on-the-old-banjo. So rather than make two separate recordings...

    Sounds good, Bob!

I'd be lost though, if I tried to play a modal tune (the second tune in your medley) in standard banjo G tuning. We used to always switch over to modal tuning for those tunes. But you handled it really well, sounds like it belongs there. And the standard tuning allows for the nice medley without having to stop and retune. Good to be versatile.
