I have a Legacy Dragon Fly Flame with the pickup in it that I purchased new about three years ago. I always have it strung by the dealer I bought it from because I don't have enough patients to do it. The last time I had it strung the tech told me the bridg looked cracked. He said he could see movement when he was stringing. On further investigation it appears that the bridge is in two parts and was made that way to get the pickup inside. My question is, should the two parts be glued together or should the be fine just fitting together?
I contacted MK when I put this question up and also asked them. I got a response back from them saying that the bridge is a two part bridge made that way to allow access to the pickup. It isn't supposed to be glued together. It sounds like whatever movement the tech that did the stringing for me saw was ok. This is the second time I have contacted MK with a question and I got a response pretty quick both times.
