Eileen Pakenham (1914-2009): Musette I have just posted my tenor guitar recording of this elegant little solo mandolin piece over in the classical forum (Link), along with recordings on mandolin and on mandola. The score is here: PDF I was slightly surprised how easily the piece transfers from mandolin to tenor guitar, and how different the effect it with the longer sustain and the full bass of this instrument. Suddenly, it's a classical guitar solo. I only needed to do one fairly small adjustment in fingering: the two ringing G major chords in the forte passage are GDBB in the mandolin score. On tenor guitar, I can't reach the second and seventh fret at the same time, so have changed the chord shape to GDDB (fifth and seventh fret). I like it Martin. A nice way for me to end my day. Gary
Lovely tone there, Martin. The tune does indeed adapt well to the tenor guitar.
