London Mandolin Orchestra's fifth festival concert Sunday 19th May 4:30pm In this year's concert London Mandolin Orchestra is joined by flautists Jan Coetzee and Nim DiRicci to play a wide range of music from folk songs to baroque concerti to modern works, exploring the range and beauty of music for a plucked string orchestra and its harmony with flutes. There will also be performances by the London Mandolin Ensemble under its conductor James Young and by the Opal Flutes choir. Unfortunately I'm going to miss it but hopefully someone will use this thread to post about it if they go. Link to their site etc
