Dear Diary and readers Took my mando to work again. Really trying to start the mandolin awareness thing in SA. Due to figuring out an easier a major I could play a few extra numbers for folks at work. Lo and behold F and B flat major also needed to show off. So my friend and colleague Ria could hear a well played and ringing azure coloured F major and a butter yellow brightly ringing B flat major. A colleague asked me to play a certain Afrikaans song. I did with the chords and told him to sing along. Colleagues and friends love the sound of the mandolin. So practiced in my fifteen minute tea break. Though more practice will be had later. Now let me have my coffee and rest in the cosy feeling of home and mandolins
