Did anyone else check out this beauty that was/is still for sale here [ad#55754]. I sure would like to spend some time with this one. It's not often I get buzzed by a mandolin, but man, that one was speaking to me. What a haunting upper midrange. A solid video by Audie Ratliff, too.
Rick - yes I looked, and watched Audie play it - which he does so well! I'm going to pass this one up, but I'm not sure why! Not many LH instruments come up for sale, so it's hard to know what to do....
I'm gonna have to pass too, and I'm not saying its not worth it, but who has got 5K? Wonder if Audie would lease it for 6 mo. or a year. I agree that there are so few good LH that when one comes around you have to wonder if you are making a mistake by not picking it up.
