Many of us may already know that a mando's sound is effected by whether you pick (or strum) near the bridge or closer to the fingerboard. The National website has many videos with Bob Brozman. In some of them he demonstrates the pronounced difference that picking placement has on resonator guitars. I was happy to find that the same holds true for the RM-1. I expected a difference anyway, but the difference in sound based on the where you pick with this mando is great. Your thoughts? Bill
