I figured I'd start a thread on places to hear and play. One that I know about and frequent is the NJ Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association. They're a great resource for all levels of player. http://www.newjerseybluegrass.org/
Another place to come would be every 4th Sunday of the month to Keyport. There's an Open Jam at the the Trinity Restaurant. It's a Church turned Rest/Bat. The time is 6-10 on that Sunday. Let me know if you need more details!
