The Triplet Hornpipe (J.S. Skinner)

There are two tunes of this name -- one is traditional one (in Kerr's Melodies) and the other written by James Scott Skinner. This one is the Skinner tune, from Nigel Gatherer's transcription:

Pretty obvious where it gets the name from! Fun to play with some nice bouncy triplet runs up and down the arpeggios.

Thanks for posting this one, Martin, and the pdf from Nigel's site. One I had not heard before and you play it well here. I like your use of just the two instruments on this one. It lets the melody come out clearly.

Thanks, John. It's a fun tune, but nobody seems to play it -- I did find some recorded examples of the other Triplet Hornpipe, but not of Skinner's (except Nigel's own here)
