This is a set of two reels: "The New Rigged Ship" is from Shetland and commonly played as a set with the jig "The Full-Rigged Ship" (SAW tune in Week #373). However, I am playing it with the Irish reel "The Boys Of Malin", from the very north of Donegal (Malin Head is Ireland's most northerly point). I have added octave mandolin harmonies arranged by Peter Macfarlane/Vermont Fiddle Orchestra:

Fine playing, Martin. The harmonies by Peter Macfarlane sound great in your arrangement.

Thanks, John and Frithjof. I enjoyed the combination of these two tunes. The A part of The Boys Of Malin flows very naturally on from the B part of The New Rigged Ship, despite the different musical traditions.
