This is a traditional waltz from the Belgian town of Kortenberg, in Flemish Brabant, which I have learned from a transcription in the French "Tourne a l'Aube" session tunebook previously posted here by Simon. Mid-Missouri M-0W mandolin Vintage Viaten tenor guitar Martin
Sounds like a nice waltz but with some delicate parts. To difficult for me.
I agree with Frithjof. But sweet playing, Martin.
I also will agree, its a nice piece and very well played
Thanks for the kind comments! I'm not sure if you're all agreeing about the same thing, but if it's about the tune being difficult to play it may help to look at the notation. It's fairly straightforward, really. As the original site for the Tourne a l'Aube songbook is now down, I've just uploaded it to the Cafe (Link). "Wals van Kortenberg" is tune #472, on page 132.
