    Judi Morningstar emailed me and said "I’ve never given the religious connotation a second thought as it was actually named for the monthly dance we played for when we were first starting out as a band. It was held at St Timothy’s Church in Detroit, hence the name. It was sponsored by the Detroit Country Dance Society, which eventually merged with the newer group, Oakland County Country Dance Society after the dance was moved out to the suburbs."
