I have a 97 Duff F5 and was just wondering how you would compare his older mando's to his latest ones. I'm not sure when he started building. My 97 sounds very good.
My varnished 2010 Duff F5 with Waverley tuners is a gem and it sounds better as time goes by, as do many parallel-braced Gibson F5s and Gilchrists. I think Paul builds very fine sounding instruments and I am proud to own one. Mind you, I still love to play both my Gibson F5 and 1913 oval A. Keep on picking!
