It is great to find that there are other people interested in the Mandolin in English Folk music. I was wondering who do you listen to? My own interest was sparked by Simon Mayor (http://www.mandolin.co.uk/). He plays a very wide range of styles under different guises but is miles ahead of any other English player. Other players I listen to include Chris Leslie (Fairport Convention), Katriona Gilmore, Benji Kirkpatrick (Bellowhead) and Rex Preston (former UK Bluegrass player, currently on tour with Show of Hands and Miranda Sykes). Who else is out there that should be on my playlist? Q
