Hi all would like to find out the names of artists who play jazz mando. Also perhaps the different categories of jazz: cool, beebop, etc. Would love to find mando artists playing cool jazz. Wonder what some of Dave Bruebeck stuff would sound when transcribed for mando? Or is that rather to touch the music of such a great?

The Gypsy/Choro link also has some great stuff. I highly recommend Will Patton.

Hi Syd and all others: thanks so much, found Don Julin: Stiernberg and Aaron Weinstein and some really wonderful stuff. Will certainly look for gypsy/choro site and then also Will Patton and Paul Glasse. I have quite a little mando jazz collection now - with a glass of wine - especially a good dessert or chardonnay? Life certainly seems great.
