Would love to do this...hopefully within the next month or so since I'm moving! Did you post to the forums?
Tasting -- everyone brings a mando to "taste", that is, allow others to play so that folks get to sample different models. I have not posted on the forums -- perhaps that would generate more interest.

I like this idea. We might have to advertise it on other sites (California Bluegrass Assoc, CL...) to get enough participation. I know of a friends bar on Polk in SF who'd be happy to have us.
I'd be interested, and I bet I could bring a friend or two. Keep me posted on dates and such.
