Just wanted to post a quick "HELLO !" to all at the Mandolin Cafe. I just bought my 1st mandolin, a Big Muddy MM-11 in Claro Walnut.... ....should be arriving today (if FedEx will leave it !). I play guitar & bass & have been wanting a mandolin for the longest time. Finally stumbled onto the right deal & went for it. Looking forward to playing & learning on the site.
It's lovely, it may not have as much volume as a Spruce topped model. Certainly nice to look at though. I expect it will have great tone, Mike Dulak makes great mandolins. Welcome to the Mid Missouri/Big Muddy Owner's Group.
