Hey Bill, don't know if you are still monitoring this thread or not a year later, but I just now read it. I have a Mid-Mo M-2 and the "owner's manual" that Mike used to include. Does Big Muddy include a manual? Anyway, he says he uses and recommends a product called Briwax. I looked it up on the internet and it's a blend of bee's wax and carnuba. I believe it is available from businesses that restore antique furniture, which is its original purpose. So bee's wax is not a stretch at all.
