There is a new open mic night in Massapequa (across the street from Krisch's cafe) Monday nights from 9 a.m. until about 1 a.m. at Mugsy McGees, 24 Central Ave., Massapequa, NY 11758. I haven't been there yet, but I received a private message about it from someone who works there and was on the MCafe. So it's Mondays at Mugsy's and Wednesdays at The Cup by Wantagh train station. (No financial interest).
