A style Mandolin build

I purchased the lumber for an A style mandolin. Nothing like just jumping in to learn something new.
I've made cabinets and furniture, (simple stuff), for years. Most can be pretty forgiving of minor errors and finishing mistakes. This will be the most challenging project I've ever attempted.
I haven't settled on a particular plan. I'm either going to follow Graham McDonald's carved front and carved back. Or another plan I purchased from Elderly. I thought I should get the lumber in the workshop and let it become acclimatized to the environment. Then settle on the final plan.
So if you want to follow a rank amateur, keep tuned. I expect this to be a winter-long project.
