Mandolin Mondays #127 w/ Special Guest Dan Bui

Rate this Entry
From the Boston-based band Twisted Pine, distinguished mandolinist Dan Bui gives us a taste of Julian Lage on the mandolin with his beautiful Ellis instrument.

Originally from Houston, TX, Dan has now made Cambridge, MA, his home base since graduating from the Berklee College of Music. Over the years he's studied with such acoustic giants as John McGann, Darol Anger, Joe Walsh, and Jason Anick.

Most recently Dan has been touring and recording extensively with the progressive bluegrass band Twisted Pine. The band features a powerhouse acoustic quartet of talented players and singers who together blur the lines between genres. This week, on Friday, June 8th, Twisted Pine will be releasing a brand new EP called I Don't Feel Like Dancin', featuring creative covers of classic and current pop music. You can preorder the project here: https://lnk.to/tpdreams
