Rating: 2 votes, 5.00 average.
Korey Brodsky brings us an impressive solo mandolin arrangement of the Earl Scruggs classic "Groundspeed" on his J Bovier Mandolin.

Originally from Newtown, Connecticut, Korey is now studying mandolin at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He's a top notch player on both mandolin and guitar and is already making waves in the Northeastern bluegrass and swing circles.

In 2016, Korey released an impressive full-length album called Cruizin'. The record features playing from such musicians as Kalia Yeagle, Ron Cody, and Jesse Brock. You can check it out here: https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/koreybrodsky

Wow! That's just wonderful--great tone and creativity. You reinvented Earl's banjo tune as a mandolin instrumental that recognizes Earl yet puts your own imaginative mandolin stamp on it. Very well done!

So great to see one of my good friends kicking it!
And on my alltime favorite Scruggs tune!
So proud to have watched him grow from the time the mandolin looked like a D-28 in his hands!
