Rate this Entry
This week on Mandolin Mondays we're joined by Fireside Collective mandolinist Jesse Iaquinto from Asheville, NC, playing an original tune called "Dazy in the Garden" played on his Duff F5 mandolin.

Jesse Iaquinto is the mandolinist, lead vocalist and founding member of Asheville, North Carolina bluegrass band “Fireside Collective”. Originally classically trained on piano, Iaquinto fell in love with the colorful harmonies and exciting instrumental approach of bluegrass music during his college years at East Carolina University. In 2009, he moved to the mountains of North Carolina to study folk, old-time and country music and to hone his bluegrass chops in the rich acoustic music community of Asheville. With Fireside Collective, Iaquinto has played over 800 shows, toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, and released 4 albums of original music. Check out their most recent album Across the Divide here: https://www.mountainhomemusiccompany...ss-the-divide/

Here’s a word from Jesse about the mandolin in the is video, “My mandolin is an F5 built in Australia by Paul Duff. It features a beautiful one-piece sugar maple back and all of the classic specs of Paul’s instruments. I bought it in Nashville at Carter Vintage Guitars.”
