This week on Mandolin Mondays we're joined by Nashville multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Avery Merritt playing this fun F major tune "Chirps and Williams" on a borrowed axe--Sterling Abernathy's Gilchrist F5 mandolin.



Avery Merritt is a Nashville based fiddler and multi-instrumentalist. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, and has won awards such as Berklee’s Fletcher Bright Scholarship, a California Governer’s Medallion, various fiddle championships, and was a selected member of Mike Marshall's 2017 Acoustic Music Seminar. At 26, he has already been on the road with Missy Raines, Dailey & Vincent, Tony Trischka, Circus No.9, Sean Watkins & The Bee Eaters, and is presently touring with Sierra Hull.

    OK, that is not just a fun tune in F Major, that is BIG FUN!
