Mandolin Mondays #284 w/ Special Guest Joon Laukamp

Rate this Entry
This week on Mandolin Mondays, Joon Laukamp from Cologne, Germany joins us for a relatable original composition called "Help Me, I'm Trapped in a Zoom Meeting" played on his Gibson F9 mandolin.

Joon is mandolin performer instructor in Cologne, who's been a fixture of the German bluegrass scene for quite some time now. You can hear his mandolin work with European bluegrass bands such as Covered Grass, Bluegrass Bude, and more.

Here's a word from Joon about the mandolin in this video, "The mandolin is a Gibson F9. One of my students gave the Gibson to me. I loved the sound of the instrument so she gave it to me, so somebody would play it more."
