11-year-old Tennessean Wyatt Ellis has only been playing the mandolin for 2 years, but he's already playing with the best of them. Watch him go on this Bill Monroe classic with his Gibson F5 Master Model.
Wyatt found the bluegrass mandolin community just before lockdown, and even though these have been trying times he's kept connected and encouraged through it all. His musical abilities have exploded through online platforms, workshops and Skype lessons. And Wyatt is already studying personally with some of the mandolin such as Jake Workman and Sierra Hull. Check out this recent article about his unique connection with Hull: https://www.thedailytimes.com/entert...737db1613.html
Wyatt has also grabbed the attention of Gibson, and has just recently become the youngest person to ever become and official Gibson endorsing artist. Read more about it here: https://bluegrasstoday.com/wyatt-ell...orsing-artist/
Rest assured we'll be hearing more from this talented player in the future.
